ORFS fittings and Code 61/62 metric flanges
O-ring face seal connections and metric flanges for high-pressure lines.
Overview
ORFS (O-ring face seal) fittings, which seal on a flat O-ring to ISO 8434-3, are used for high-pressure applications where a reliable leak-free joint is required. In larger sizes and at very high pressures, a metric flange connection to SAE J518 (Code 61 for 3,000 psi and Code 62 for 6,000 psi) replaces the threaded joint. Tose'e Tejarat Sayyalat supplies both connection types alongside the other standards.
