Product Overview
Bulk material hose is used to transfer powdery, abrasive materials such as cement and barite — from a supply vessel to a drilling rig, or on cement and mining loading/unloading lines. The inner tube is built from an extra-thick, electrically conductive rubber to resist abrasion from powdered material and to dissipate the static charge that accumulates during high-volume dry-bulk transfer (a fire/explosion hazard). Reinforcement combines high-tensile textile cord with a steel helix that gives the hose the strength it needs to work under suction (vacuum).
