Suction and discharge hose with a sanitary, non-toxic inner tube for drinking water and foodstuffs.
Product Overview
Food-grade hose is built with a white natural rubber (NR) inner tube that is non-toxic, highly abrasion resistant and of a quality suitable for food contact. The standard reinforcement combines high-tensile synthetic fibre with a steel helix, which ensures the hose resists collapse under suction (vacuum), and the outer cover is smooth blue NR/EPDM resistant to weathering, ozone and abrasion. The hose is also used for high-pressure potable water transfer and offshore applications.
Technical note: In addition to the standard model with a steel helix (suitable for both suction and discharge), a version without a metal helix (smooth delivery, no metal reinforcement) is available for discharge-led applications that do not need vacuum resistance. That version is lighter and more flexible. The right type is determined by the project's duty — suction, or discharge only.

In plain terms: What distinguishes this hose from ordinary industrial hose is the inner tube material: it must be odourless and tasteless and must not contaminate the product carried, such as edible oil, syrup or dairy products. For that reason a food-contact certificate should always be requested from the supplier.
