Cementing Hose
High-pressure flexible connection between the cementing pump and the cementing head, carrying cement slurry in well cementing operations.
Product Overview
Cementing hose is the flexible connection between the cementing pump, the manifold and the cementing head, carrying cement slurries at high pressure. It is supplied in two pressure grades, 10,000 psi and 15,000 psi, and is produced to API Spec 7K under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
Construction
- Tube: modified nitrile, 3/16 inch thick, black, designed to resist abrasion and corrosion
- Reinforcement: multiple layers of textile fabric and steel cable, with an intermediate rubber layer between the cable layers
- Cover: black modified nitrile with a special Ultra Abrasion coating, resistant to abrasion, corrosion, cutting, gouging, oil and weather
- Couplings: swaged couplings; a full range of end connections is available, including hammer union, flange, hub and male thread
Applications
- Connection from the cementing pump to the manifold and the well cementing head
- Carrying cement slurry in oil and gas well cementing operations

In plain terms: This hose connects the cementing truck or pumping unit to the wellhead. Because cement slurry is abrasive and pumping pressure is very high, the hose must resist abrasion from the slurry and also withstand the pressure pulses of a reciprocating pump without damage.
