Crimped fittings with a British Standard Pipe thread, to BS 5200.
Overview
BSP (British Standard Pipe) fittings are among the common hydraulic connection standards on equipment and machinery of European design, and are produced to BS 5200. Tose'e Tejarat Sayyalat supplies these fittings in zinc-plated carbon steel or stainless steel, in sizes from dash -2 (1/8 inch) to dash -32 (2 inch).

In plain terms: BSP fittings come in two thread forms: tapered (BSPT, which seals on the thread itself) and parallel (BSPP, which needs an O-ring or bonded washer). Confusing the two is the most common cause of leaks on imported European equipment — always confirm the exact thread form before ordering.
