Product Overview
A pipe or tube clamp is used to support and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipe runs on a frame, skid or steel structure. It consists of two clamp halves (upper and lower) together with a cover plate and steel bolt, mounted on a rail. The clamp body is made of engineering plastic (polypropylene or polyamide) or aluminium depending on the application; the bolts and cover plate are steel (usually galvanised) in both cases. The product is made and supplied to DIN 3015 in three series: standard, heavy and twin.

In plain terms: The main purpose of this clamp is to prevent vibration and metal fatigue in hydraulic and pneumatic pipe runs on equipment frames and skids. Clamp spacing along the pipe run should follow the spacing table in the standard: spacing them too far apart allows the pipe to oscillate and, over time, to crack at a weld or joint.
