Conductive hose with a steel helix for the suction and discharge of petroleum products on fuel tankers.
Product Overview
High-pressure oil suction and discharge hose is built with a conductive NBR inner tube and textile reinforcement, together with a steel helix and a copper anti-static wire. The steel helix prevents the hose from collapsing under suction. It is designed for fuel tankers and for the suction and discharge of petroleum products with an aromatic content of up to 50%.

In plain terms: The key point when specifying this hose is the difference between suction and discharge: it must withstand the vacuum created by the suction pump without collapsing, and at the same time withstand discharge pressure. The internal metal helix is built into the hose for exactly this reason.
