Abrasion-resistant hose carrying air and grit for sandblasting and surface cleaning.
Product Overview
Sandblast hose is built with a black NR/BR inner tube of very high abrasion resistance which is electrically conductive, preventing the build-up of static electricity generated by the passage of abrasive particles. It is reinforced with high-tensile synthetic fibre together with a copper anti-static wire, and the outer cover is black SBR/EPDM resistant to weathering, ozone and abrasion. The hose is used for sandblasting and industrial surface cleaning, such as surface preparation before painting and coating.

In plain terms: In a sandblast hose the abrasion-resistant construction matters more than the working pressure: the abrasive particles (sand or metal grit) carried in the air stream gradually wear both the inner tube and the cover. Sandblast hose therefore has a shorter service life than ordinary air hose and should be inspected at regular intervals.
