Well Kill Hose
High-pressure hose for the kill line of the BOP system, carrying heavy drilling mud to balance formation pressure during well control operations.
Product Overview
Well kill hose is the high-pressure flexible connection that links the mud pumps to the line below the BOP, allowing heavy fluid to be pumped into the well or the annulus while the BOP is closed. It is an integral part of the kill and choke line safety equipment on a drilling rig and is built to API 16C requirements. Tose'e Tejarat Sayyalat supplies this product alongside BOP hose, to the technical requirements of each project.
Construction
- Tube: fluoroelastomer (FKM) with high resistance to abrasion, corrosion and oil
- Reinforcement: multiple polyester yarn layers over the tube together with high-tensile steel wires (up to four cable wire strands)
- Cover: specially compounded NBR, resistant to abrasion, cutting and weathering
- Armour option: stainless steel stripwound protective casing to guard against mechanical damage and fire

- The kill line of the BOP system, for pumping heavy mud
- Well control operations in response to a kick or blowout
- High-pressure assemblies in lengths up to 50 metres
